We are focused on connecting kids to a small circle of peers and a trusted team of volunteers that are partnering with parents to help each child see Jesus for who He is, help them to see themselves the way Jesus sees them, and to help them to love others the way Jesus loves them so they can take Jesus to their home, school and neighborhood.

What to Expect on a Sunday
We love kids at Long Beach Church! Our Ministry Coordinators and Volunteers are here to serve you and your family and create a memorable experience for your kids.
Our Kids Ministry is PreK - 5th grade and there will be all kinds of age appropriate activities for your kids to experience on a Sunday morning. We have a "Small - Big - Small" format where the kids have a circle time experience to start, then they go to big group Kids Church, where they worship and hear a Bible story. Then they go small again, with age appropriate small groups with arts and crafts pertaining to the Bible story and age appropriate processing and discussion about the Bible story.
You can drop your kids off with our volunteers at the check-in or you are welcome to accompany your kids to the Launch Pad.
Here is a schedule of a typical Sunday morning at Long Beach Church for kids and their families.
NexGenKids Schedule for Sunday’s
9:00am-10:00am: Supervised Playtime
◦ Breakfast snack and juice for the kids (15-20 min)
◦ Supervised playtime on the playground. (30-40 min)
10:00am-10:30am:
◦ Hangout & snack time with parents
10:30am-12:00pm: Kids Church in the Launch Pad
◦ (Small) - Kids Circle Time
◦ (Big) - Kids Church (Worship & Bible Story)
◦ (Small) - Kids Small Groups
